Dedicated To All Members of Troop and Ship 314 from the Neighborhoods of Frankford and Bridesburg in Philadelphia PA.
1927 - Stanley Jerome first Scoutmaster.

1928 - The 314 Drum and Bugle Corps was organized and played its first Memorial Day Parade.

1929 - The first patrol of ten boys attended Treasure Island.

1930 - Matthew F. Dombrowski second Scoutmaster.

1934 - Camping contest at Camp Melnar and Lorimer Park

1936 - Sea Scout Patrol Ranger was organized by Al Gonsiewski and Leonard Kraczyk.

1936 - Al Gonsiewski first Skipper. The fleet included two metal whale boats. This began the first boy scout - sea scout camping expeditions by water.

1936 - The Post 396 Girl Color Guard was organized at this time and combined with the 314 Drum and Bugle Corps.

1936 - The annual Christmas caroling tradition began.

1937 - Al Gonsiewski third Scoutmaster.

1938 - The troop attended Treasure Island for the first time as a unit. Although it rained all week everyone enjoyed themselves.

1940 - The U. S. Navy donated the Coral Ann and the SSP Ranger 314. Now there were motorized boat camping trips along the Delaware River and Rancocas Creek.

1942 - World War 11 the troop was busy on scrap and paper drives. Blood drives by the older boys. Many of the older boys enlisted or w?re drafted into the services..

1942 - The 314 Mothers Organization was founded.

1942 - The organization of 314 Cub Pack and 314 Girl Scouts.

1945 - U. S. Navy donated the 34 foot Ranger I to the Sea Scouts.

1946 - The first big post Memorial Day Parade was held with all the returning veterans marching with the troop or now as a member of American Legion Post 396.

1946 - Camping trips to Treasure Island, Breyer Scout Training Area, Rolston Lodge, Lebanon State Park, Camporees at Wissinoming Park Breyers, the old Boulevard Airport, Pennypack Park and the Big Camporall at Belmont Plateau in Fairmount Park where the troop won all honors for its outstanding campsite with the Pyramid Table.

1953 - Gus and Marge Gonsiewski bought a bungalow along the Rancocas Creek. This began great camping weekends, day hikes, canoe trips and picnics. WFIL Scout of the month Awards to Edwin Wydro and Nick Clemente.

1954 - Hurricane Hazel destroyes Ranger I.

1956 - Navy donated the 45 foot Ranger II).

1962 - Delaware District Excellence Award Fitness Camporee

1964 - Honor Unit 1964 Roundup.

1965 - Honor Unit 1965 Roundup.

965 - Indian Dance Team Organized

1966 - Scouting Action - Scout Exhibition First Place Award.

1971 - Joseph Zagorski Scout of the Year Represented Boy Scouts of America at the 53rd National Convention of the American Legion.

1971 - Expo built Indian Sun Dance Arbor - Big hit at Expo.
